EKG Training
ECG Class Overview
This course is conducted live via zoom by an expert instructor and includes hands-on practice time interpreting ECG rhythms. Self-paced pre & post work is also included in this course.

Learning Objectives
The EKG training program provides students with a grasp of the fundamentals of EKG interpretation and the practical skills for taking these EKG recordings and identifying common heart problems using EKG patterns in conjunction with other symptoms.
The student will be able to:
- Recognize and measure P wave, QRS complex, T-wave, PR interval and QT interval
- Correctly measure EKG elements necessary for rhythm identification
- Identify correct EKG lead placement and correct issues that lead to poor EKG tracings
Cardiac Rhythms Covered
Students will learn to recognize the following cardiac rhythms
- Sinus bradycardia
- Sinus rhythm
- Junctional rhythm
- Atrial fibrillation
- Atrial flutter
- First degree heart block
- Second degree heart blocks, type 1 and type 2
- Third degree heart block
- Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT)
- Ventricular Tachycardia
- Ventricular Fibrillation
- Asystole
- Pulseless Electrical Activity
- Pacemaker initiated rhythms
- Ectopic beats PAC, PJC, PVC
