We’re proud to work with an elite group of instructors—and joining our team is highly competitive.
Here’s what defines a typical ResusMed educator:
- Most hold advanced nursing degrees (MSN or DNP/PhD).
- All have a minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in emergency or critical care settings.
- Serve as current or former ENA Faculty or highly experienced Course Directors.
- Due to the high standards of our students and program, we do not utilize new instructors or first-time course directors.
- Actively engaged with the Emergency Nurses Association at the state and national level.
- Maintain a variety of relevant ENA certifications such as CEN, TCRN, CPEN, CCRN, CFRN, CTRN, and others.

Characteristics of Our Educators
Advanced Education
The majority of our educators hold a masters or doctorate in nursing.
Extensive Experience
Educators have a minimum of 10 years of experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
ENA Expertise
Our team includes Emergency Nursing Association ENA Faculty or highly experienced Course Directors.
Seasoned Professionals
Due to our high standards, we do not hire new instructors or course directors.
Active Involvement
Educators are actively engaged with the Emergency Nursing Association at both state and national levels.
